Why Your Body Is So Important
Your body knows things your mind might miss:

How Your Body and Mind Work Together
Here's the simple science behind somatic coaching:
Your body has memory.
Just like your muscles remember how to ride a bike, your body remembers emotional experiences too. When something scary happened in the past, your body created a protection pattern. These patterns can keep running even when you don't need them anymore.
You have a "safety system."
Your nervous system has three main settings:To be your real self and follow your dreams, you need to be in that first setting most of the time.
Your "calm and connected" setting lets you feel safe, be creative, and dream big
Your "alert and ready" setting helps when there's danger
Your "shutdown" setting activates when things feel too overwhelming
Your body talks to you.
That "gut feeling" is real! Your stomach and heart actually send more signals to your brain than your brain sends to them. When you pay attention to these feelings, you make better choices.
You can create new patterns.
